around the world. Associate Director, Global Rare Diseases
Scientific Communications & Publications, oversees the development
and execution of the strategic publication and scientific
communication plan for multiple indications including launched
products and development indications in the Rare Franchise. We are

patients around the world. Main Responsibilities: The Scientific
Communications Lead will closely collaborate with external thought
leaders and internal stakeholders in the medical, scientific
affairs, biostats and clinical development teams by leading: -
Strategic publication planning and execution: Overseeing the
development of abstracts for medical and scientific congresses,
posters, platform presentations, manuscripts, and journal
publication enhancements. - Scientific communications strategic
planning and resource development: Creating scientific platforms,
lexicons, FAQs, and backgrounders, as well as supporting content
development for advisory boards. - Medical education planning and
execution: Developing content for live education programs, congress
symposia, online and multichannel HCP education, field medical
tools, slide decks, medical booth resources, and omnichannel
engagement assets. - This role reports to the Director Global
Scientific Communications for launch indications within Rare
Diseases in Global Medical Affairs at Sanofi. - Collaboration with
external authors and academic experts is essential to drive
execution of high quality and relevant publications and medical
education materials to address educational and data gaps and inform
strategic decision making. - In addition to investigators/authors,
a key element of this role involves managing scientific agencies
and requires working closely with cross-functional teams and
internal stakeholders, particularly from the Registry, Research and
Clinical Development, to drive the data generation strategy and
integration of scientific, clinical, and business priorities. - The
Scientific Communications Lead will have experience and a proven
track record of success in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical
industry, with a strong background in scientific research,
publication planning, medical communications, and medical affairs
activities About You Qualifications and Skills: - Advance degree in
life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD or MS)
with 2 years of relevant medical affairs experience. - A minimum of
2 years pharma/biotech industry in a global role - Experience
working in a matrix organization and across team is preferred. -
Ability to interpret and critique scientific and medical data with
respect to scientific and business implications are essential. -
Experience and demonstrated skill in the analysis, communication,
and presentation of complex scientific and medical data. - Track
record of successfully developing peer-reviewed publications is
required. - Exemplary customer facing skills, and ability to
collaborate with external Key Opinion Leaders on data dissemination
strategies in a credible, responsive and customer focused manner is
a necessity. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
written and verbal; comfortable and experienced in making
presentations. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a
matrix environment. - Experience collaborating with and supporting
international medical scientific teams. - Knowledge of industry
guidelines pertaining to data dissemination (e.g., CONSORT, ICMJE,
GPPs) and interactions with health care providers (e.g., PhRMA
