U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.The New Products Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the New Products Group objectives: win new business and launch competitive supply chains. Individual works closely with the other New Products team members, Sales, Quality and Engineering. List of possible activities that the individual may be involved with are:Assist with developing New Products Group workflow procedures.Support and maintain integrity of RFQ software database.Monitor, track, analyze material indices reports.Support supplier RFQ issuances and quote analysis based on reviewing drawings/specifications.Support project/part cost structures with accurate cost models.Support inter-company price management.Support tracking prototype and/or production costs for project launches.Conduct miscellaneous cost studies / reconciliations and participate in cost saving activities.Requirements:Excellent interpersonal, written, and speaking skills required.Analytical and problem solving skills required.Attention to detail required.Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks concurrently required.Understanding of accounting principles and/or activity based costing preferred.Advanced Microsoft Office skills required: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.Project and Access preferred.In process of obtaining an undergraduate engineering degree required.Ability to interpret blueprints required.Tsubaki is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities/Females/Veterans/DisabilityPM21PI208286848
