Job Description: As a Data Science Intern at our Innovation
Analytics & AI department, you will be part of a team that
translates business needs into analytics, interprets analytics for
business applications, and leverage advanced technologies to
provide artificial intelligence solutions. This role will provide
you with the opportunity to be part of top-notch research in the
field of loss prevention. You’ll be part of a leading-edge and
diverse team of sophisticated data and analytics professionals at
our corporate offices in Johnston, RI. Your projects will be
interesting, exciting, and challenging, and you will use your
creativity and leverage a vast array of techniques and tools.
Qualifications: Actively enrolled in a Ph.D. or M.S. program in
Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research,
Industrial Engineering. Knowledge of Generalized Linear Models,
Linear Models, and Machine Learning, OR Deterministic and
Probabilistic Operations Research, and Simulation At least 1 year
of experience of using R, Python or SQL for data analysis
Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Excel, Word,
