Job Description:

Hybrid: will need to come on site in some capacity Job Description Overview Provides expertise in building an SAP support strategy for Finance that involves designing, managing, and optimizing key processes and workflows; Instruct and guide team on how to apply and maintain SAP technologies and provide user support and training. Core Responsibilities Assist Finance to learn, apply, and maintain SAP technologies Troubleshoot system issues and work with managed service provider to ensure problems are fixed correctly Refine system configuration based on developing business needs; provide suggestions on how to optimize the systems and improve workflows Manage master data and multiple reporting hierarchies Manage report development in SAC Identify opportunities to utilize and / or deploy SAP best practices Identifying value-added and non-value-added processes Help Finance streamline day-to-day SAP operations Identify opportunities to simplify SAP instances Develop metrics to help evaluate and improve the SAP systems and Finance performance Developing infrastructure and enhancement standards and procedures Keep current with trends and issues in SAP and Finance, including current technologies Develop and maintain strong work relationships with key business leaders Essential Competencies Professionalism/Personal Accountability, Collaboration and Teamwork, Communication, Flexible and Adapts to Change, Service to Customers and Clients, Talent Development, Leadership Skill Qualifications Required: Accuracy and detail orientation Proficient in SAP system configuration and architecture Organizational and coordination skills to support multi-tasking Strong oral and written communication skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred: Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting and reporting beneficial but not required Knowledge of NAIC requirements and statutory accounting beneficial but not required Systems/Technical Knowledge: SAP S/4HANA, including SAC, FPSL, and FSCD Data integration software (e.g. Boomi, Talend) SOVOS - Wings experience beneficial Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Education and Experience Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree 6-8 years experience in SAP configuration and workflow optimization Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
