Our client is a Cabinet-level agency under the Governor of Massachusetts. EOHHS is the largest secretariat in Massachusetts and is responsible for the Medicaid program, child welfare, public health, disabilities, veterans' affairs, and elder affairs.They are hiring for LPNs in Central/Western Mass. Someone who is compassionate, professional, and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to assume supervision within an assigned unit of the facility while fostering teamwork across multiple disciplines. -LPN -Responsibilities: -Providing exceptional nursing care to veteran residents s by assessing health status, responding to call lights or veterans' requests for assistance, and making observations on roundsAdministering nursing treatments, procedures, doctor orders, and care plans; observe, identify and respond to the needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family educationIdentifying, evaluating, and assessing veteran health status; conferring with supervising Registered Nurses (RNs) and assigned medical staff for treatment modalitiesRecognizing urgent or emergency patient care situations; seek the assistance of the RN and/or medical staff and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed or neededLPN - -Qualifications:Must have a current, active license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in NursingAbility to follow oral and written instructionsPreferably, skilled in the use of using a computer for the completion of work assignmentsThere are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
