evening, and night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of
3 years in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing License: Current
RN License in Massachusetts Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM (every 2
years for Labor & Delivery) Must-Have: Skills in Labor & Delivery,
Postpartum, Circulate, and Newborn Care Description: The position
requires an RN with experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum.
Clinician to patient ratios are 1:2-3 for evaluations and 1:1 for
active labor. The unit features a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit
which includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn, operating
rooms, recovery rooms, and antepartum rooms. The average daily
census is 15-25 mothers, babies, and labors. Floating is not
required for this role. Rotating shifts are primarily during the
day, with the need to rotate to evenings and nights as necessary.
Current certifications required include BLS, NRP, and EFM. AHA ACLS
