You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active Rhode Island PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Experience with common SNF equipment and procedures such as gait training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
