Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading integrated health care system,
is seeking a Clinical Nurse III at our South Clinical Campus. This
role is pivotal in providing top-tier patient care and directly
supports our mission of excellence in medical education, research,
and clinical service. The position involves working collaboratively
in a dynamic team environment to deliver high-quality healthcare,
participate in continuous improvement processes, and enhance
patient outcomes. Provide direct nursing care to patients in a
high-acuity setting. Participate in the development and
implementation of patient care plans. Mentor and support the
professional development of junior nursing staff. Engage in
multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care plans.
Implement evidence-based healthcare practices and comply with all
safety protocols. Document patient care services by charting in
patient and department records. Advanced clinical nursing skills
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities Excellent verbal and
written communication Proficient in using medical software and
patient care technologies Critical thinking and problem-solving
skills Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) recommended
