Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) performing minimally invasive procedures • Assist with angiograms, peripheral revascularization, hemodialysis catheter placement and maintenance • Support nephrostomy drainage tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tube procedures • Assist with central line placement, vascular access including port placement • Provide care for pain management interventions, paracentesis/thoracentesis • Pre and post-care for patients having renal, liver, and lung biopsies • Support carotid stenting procedures • Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed • 8-hour non-billable orientation required • Must wear personal scrubs of any color • 2 years current Interventional Radiology/IR RN experience required • Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Defibrillation Certification • IV skills and CCU experience required • Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred • Must function independently in high stress, work intensive environment • Massachusetts RN license required • Must have own vehicle for transportation • Local travelers within 50 miles of facility not eligible • Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission Facility: This healthcare facility features an innovative Vascular and Interventional Radiology department where physicians treat diseases non-operatively through small catheters guided by fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities.
