Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles Monitor patient health and progress while preparing patients and their families for future self-management and decision-making responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment Support patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve healthcare delivery Document and communicate actions to maintain continuity among the nursing team Proven ability to apply clinical nursing skills in a healthcare setting Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in educating and comforting patients Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred Certification in medical-surgical nursing by an accredited body such as the ANCC
