Job Description:

Clinical Nurse III in our Labor and Delivery/Antepartum unit. This
role is pivotal in supporting expectant mothers through labor,
delivery, and the antepartum period. Our dedicated team relies on
advanced practice nurses to provide compassionate and comprehensive
nursing care based on cutting-edge clinical guidelines and
protocols. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
utilizing computerized documentation systems. Instruct and educate
patients and families on postnatal and newborn care. Participate in
the development of nursing care plans and the implementation of
therapeutic interventions. Offer support and guidance to junior
staff, promoting best practices in labor and delivery and
antepartum care. Expertise in fetal monitoring and maternity care.
Ability to perform under stressful conditions with a high level of
compassion and accuracy. Excellent patient care skills and the
ability to educate and engage with families. Proficient with
electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York. BLS/CPR
certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are
preferred.
