As an LNA, you will assist in the daily care of patients, helping with basic patient activities and ensuring that they receive compassionate care. This position places you at the heart of patient interaction and contributes significantly to our goals of patient satisfaction and quality service. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Assist nursing staff with the setup and involved care procedures Communicate regularly with nurses regarding patient’s status Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of patient areas Support patient admission and discharge processes Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Capability to perform tasks requiring physical endurance and dexterity Basic knowledge of patient health care and hygiene standards Efficient multitasking and teamwork skills Licensed Nurse Assistant certification in Vermont CPR certified or ability to obtain certification
