Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician Near Manchester, NH We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Manchester, NH. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a balance between a main campus and a newly established, fully-equipped freestanding ER. Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Position Type: Locum Tenens Key Responsibilities: Coverage: Rotate between main campus and freestanding ER Shift Details: Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage with 18-hour APP (Advanced Practice Provider) coverage Patient Volume: Approximately 25,000 annual patient visits Emergency Department Features: Level III Trauma Center Accredited chest pain center Certified Primary Stroke Center State-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services Specialty rooms for gynecology, ENT, cardiac, and trauma patients Pediatric acute care services, including specialized Asthma P.A.C.T. program CEN-certified nurses Requirements: Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BCEM) Alternatively, Board Certified in Family Medicine (BCFM) or Internal Medicine (BCIM) with 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience Certifications Required: ABPS EM boards welcome Experience: Recent Emergency Department experience required Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days Additional Information: Work/Life Balance: The opportunity offers an excellent balance, with the position being easily commutable from Massachusetts.
