Job Description:

Clinical Nurse III to join our dynamic CPS/VICU team. This role is
pivotal in providing top-tier nursing care and achieving optimal
patient outcomes in our state-of-the-art Cardiopulmonary Surgery
and Vascular Intensive Care Unit. As an innovator in medical care,
this position requires a sophisticated blend of experience,
empathy, and cutting-edge nursing skills. Provide exceptional
nursing care to patients in the Cardiopulmonary Surgery and
Vascular Intensive Care Unit. Assess patient conditions and
administer comprehensive care based on patient needs and medical
directives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate
individualized patient care plans. Utilize advanced nursing
techniques and theories in patient care and recovery. Educate
patients and families on disease processes, treatment, and
post-hospital care. Maintain detailed patient records and
participate in unit audits to ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards. Proficiency in using medical software
for patient management. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced
environment. Expertise in cardiopulmonary and vascular care
procedures. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in New York State. CPR/BLS certified, ACLS
preferred. CPS Nursing Certification (CNC) a plus.
