qualified Psych RN in Glens Falls, New York, 12801! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health -
Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health Unit
experience required. License: New York Temporary Health Care
Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required.
Certifications: Current BLS and CPI certifications are required.
Must-Have: - Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult
Patients required. - Recent travel experience required. -
Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients is essential. -
De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle
Certifications required. - Traveler candidate must have their own
vehicle. - Epic experience required. - Reliability with no
attendance concerns is mandatory. Description: This position is for
a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health - Inpatient.
The role involves caring for adults and geriatric patients. The
average daily census is approximately 20 patients. The RN to
patient ratio can vary from 1:9 depending on census. Average length
of stay for patients is between 5 to 7 days. The facility utilizes
a primary nursing model. Staff on night shift typically includes 2
RNs, 3 behavioral health technicians, a supervisor, and an on-call
psychiatrist. Dress code is business casual or personal scrubs of
any color without designs or cartoons. Every other weekend and
holiday rotation is required. Candidates must provide a work
history and a signed supervisory reference from within the past two
years of employment. A permanent address matching the driver's
