Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Dysrhythmia skills Acute care experience (at least 1 year) Description: This position requires strong clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. The unit provides care for patients with telemetry needs. The number of patient beds is 29 with a patient ratio of 6:1. Support staff includes LNA support, with no unit secretary available. Key equipment includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry monitors. The documentation system utilized is Meditech Expanse. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Patient experience is prioritized, involving bedside care conferences and safety rounding.
