ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Montpelier, Vermont. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Location Berlin, VT Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts. Every other weekend is required, and holiday work is expected. Job Description The Med-Surg Telemetry RN will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute medical/surgical telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for applying, interpreting, and actively responding to telemetry readings and caring for a diverse patient population, including post-operative orthopedics, urology, GI, COPD, CHF, and more. Responsibilities Apply and interpret telemetry readings and respond accordingly. Perform NG tube insertion and peripheral IV insertion. Collaborate effectively with team members to provide seamless patient care. Engage with patients and their families regarding care and placement needs. Work with advanced practice providers and ancillary staff to enhance patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a telemetry specialty. Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (to be completed before starting). Telemetry certification is preferred. Prior travel experience is required; candidates must have completed at least two assignments in 300 bed facilities or have experience in an UVMHN acute care facility.
