Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN School RN for a local contract nursing job in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: School RN Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Temporary RN Start Date: December 8, 2025 Contract length: 90 days with an option to extend it if needed Hours Per Week: up to 40 hours per week. Scope of Work · Participate in the medical examination of students. · Specimen (blood and urine) collection as needed (phlebotomy). · Screen patients and refer them to the Center Physician, Health and Wellness Manager, and/or the Center Mental Health. · Observe, record, and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and behavior. · Perform first aid treatment as needed. · Assist the physician with patient examinations; prepare patients for tests and examinations. · Provide guidance to students on personal hygiene. · Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed. · Maintain medical equipment and inventory of supplies and medications. · Maintain accurate medical records. · Promote projects that support health and safety throughout the center.
