SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the general direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, this position is responsible for all incoming and outgoing machine parts and Managing the Computerized Inventory system Maximo. Ensuring parts are ordered and received in a timely basis especially when a piece of equipment is down. Accoubtabilities: * Manage inventory for all equipment parts using an inventory management system * Ensure stock levels are maintained * Order parts from multiple suppliers * Parts will range from electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing along with services ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Create, maintain and track physical and computerized inventory. * Crossover all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components to different manufacturers when necessary. * Mechanical ? Must be capable of using all types of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, duro meters, pitch gauges, etc.). Must possess a good understanding of gear ratios, pitches, metals and plastics. Ability to differentiate assorted bushings, taper locks, sprockets, chains, gears, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes, thread sizes and pitch, plumbing accessories, etc. * Electrical ? Must possess a good understanding and have the ability to cross over AC and DC volt relays, proximity switches, fiber optic switches, micro switches solenoids, drives, motors, encoders, etc. * Hydraulics and Pneumatics ? Must possess a good understanding and have the ability to crossover a variety of components (cylinders, valves, regulators, switches, etc.).
