The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in nursing and leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. This role will oversee all aspects of our telemetry unit, ensuring that our high standards of care are met and exceeded. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:As the Nurse Manager of the Medical Telemetry Unit, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing the daily operations of the telemetry unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.2. Developing and implementing policies and procedures that improve efficiency and patient outcomes.3. Leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.4. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.5. Managing the budget and resources of the telemetry unit, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effectiveness.6. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adherence to hospital policies and procedures.7. Participating in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.8. Implementing quality improvement initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness.9. Serving as a role model and leader, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Permanent Nurse Manager - Medical Telemetry Unit, candidates must possess the following qualifications:1. A current and valid RN license.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, with significant experience in a telemetry unit.3. Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.4. Exceptional knowledge of medical telemetry, including the use of telemetry monitoring equipment and interpretation of data.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and their families.6. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.8.
