Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle
Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a
Contract Logistics Support (CLS) Instructor/Developer to work
onsite in Woburn, MA. LCE is responsible for ensuring our products
are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time, Life Cycle
Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support
engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our LCE
disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products
from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support,
including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety,
and Supportability. As the CLS Instructor/Developer, you’ll be
assigned to the CLS program and will be responsible for the
training and guidance of the AN/TPY-2 system in support of our
maintainers around the globe. This role will require you to
research, develop, and revise maintenance training plans and
training courses in support of our maintainers. You will be
responsible for conducting training through formal classroom
instruction, workshops, and seminars. The role also includes
administrative support of other CLS Team members to facilitate
innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and
effectiveness of the Air & Space Defense System’s products and
services over their life cycle. What You Will Do Develop and
maintain operations and maintenance training technical content,
including presentations and accompanying materials. Assess
engineering data for impacts to existing technical content. Create
and maintain technical manuals, including content addressing system
functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective
maintenance, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns,
utilizing compiled technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
Research technical documentation, engineering personnel input, and
other subject matter experts to design effective learning and
documentation solutions. Deliver instructor-led classroom training
to stakeholders as required. Conduct training sessions and assist
in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities and
materials. Interfacing with the DoD customer and international
partner to optimize products and solutions in support of achieving
maximum Operational Readiness and compliance to contractual
requirements as well as establishing open communications and
building trust. The role will require domestic and international
travel (up to 15%). Qualifications You Must Have A University
Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant
experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3
years experience. Experience in training instruction and training
development in a military or civilian environment. Experience with
the AN/TPY-2 system and/or similar missile defense system.
Qualifications We Prefer Ability to analyze technical documentation
and training materials while working independently and
collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines. Strong
communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with
proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft 365 applications. Experience
writing to military specifications and familiarity with radar,
sensor systems, or other advanced electronic systems, particularly
within DoD programs. Master Instructor or Master Training
Specialist Certification, or equivalent training expertise, with a

roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and
maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of
our products. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure

remote. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
