U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry. The Lab Engineering Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the Product Engineering department's lab objectives: to test chain drive performance in simulations and within internal combustion engines or other applications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Assist in creating chain system models using multi-body dynamics simulation software such as ADAMS, SIMDRIVE, VALDYN, GT-SUITE, etc.Assist in analyzing system/component performance in the dynamics simulation software and correlate with real-world/lab test results. Use Microsoft Excel to pre & post-process large data files. Support with communication and document engineering simulation or test results and provide technical direction.Support the development and provide test plans for customer issues Assist in setting up chain system and component tests using appropriate hardware, sensors, data acquisition, etc.Requirements:In process of obtaining an undergraduate engineering degree.Excellent interpersonal, written, and speaking skills required.Analytical and problem-solving skills required.Attention to detail required.Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks concurrently required.Ability to interpret blueprints.Advance Microsoft Office skills required: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.Experience with a MRP system (example: MFG/PRO - QAD) preferred.Tsubaki is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities/Females/Veterans/DisabilityPM21PI208283488
