Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a skilled
Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based
settings for a contract position in Lowell, MA. This role focuses
on delivering specialized OT services to support students
developmental and educational needs within a school environment.
Ideal candidates possess a strong background in pediatric
occupational therapy and are adept at creating individualized
treatment plans that enhance students learning and functional
abilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive OT
evaluations for school-aged children. - Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans focusing on improving students
physical, sensory, and cognitive skills. - Collaborate with
educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student
progress. - Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust
interventions as needed. - Provide guidance and training to school
staff regarding OT strategies and accommodations. Qualifications: -
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
- Expertise in pediatric OT and understanding of educational
environments. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
work effectively with students, families, and school personnel. -
Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed documentation. -
Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations is
a plus. Location: Lowell, Massachusetts This contract role offers
