Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for experienced Special Education
Teachers to support K-12 students with diverse learning needs in a
full-time, onsite role based in Albany, OR. The contract runs from
ASAP through June 5, 2026, providing a consistent school-year
commitment within a structured educational environment. You will
work with teams of assistants to support students with behavioral,
autism spectrum disorder (ASD), communication, and developmental
challenges across multiple grade levels. Positions available
include: Elementary Developmental Classroom serving 15 students
with 6 assistants, focusing on behavior, ASD, and communication
needs Elementary Behavior Classroom supporting 16 students in
grades 3-5 with 5 assistants Middle School Resource working with 40
students alongside 2 shared assistants Elementary Resource covering
2 sites located 2 miles apart, supporting 35 students with 1
assistant in each building Middle School Behavior supporting 15
students with 5 assistants Qualifications and Experience: Active
Special Education certification/license in Oregon Previous teaching
experience in special education preferred Ability to collaborate
effectively with assistants and educational staff Strong
communication and classroom management skills Contact information

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized
education plans (IEPs), providing direct instruction, monitoring
student progress, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment
tailored to meet the needs of all learners. Work schedule is full
