Description The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for:
Assisting with subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and
contract management Supporting project closeout documentation and
ensuring all requirements are met Managing the submittal and RFI
processes, ensuring timely responses and approvals Evaluating RFPs
and soliciting competitive pricing from subcontractors and
suppliers Overseeing owner and subcontractor change orders,
tracking costs and approvals Proactively resolving project-related
issues to keep schedules and budgets on track Monitoring and
ensuring the timely procurement of materials Working closely with
the project management team in a small, collaborative environment
with direct access to ownership Profile The right Assistant Project
Manager has the following qualifications: Must be commutable to
Waltham, MA. No hybrid/remote options available. 3 years of
experience in the construction industry Ground-up or renovation
experience on projects $20M Ideally within public, academic, or
K-12 construction An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience using Procore or other construction management software.
Familiar with Procore Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking
skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
environment Job Offer The Assistant Project Manager will receive:
Compensation $85K-$125K (based on experience) Project Bonus: For
on-time project completion 100% employer-paid health insurance 401k
3% match 2 weeks vacation to start, plus 5 sick days and 2 personal
