Job Description:
Job description Seeking a high level experienced collections
specialist for a premier client. Lincoln, RI Currently looking for
an experienced Collections Specialist to fill an opening with a
growing insurance company in geater Rhode Island. Interested
candidates must have 2 - 3 years of experience in A/R & Collections
and have experience with business-to-business collections.
Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist: Assist with Account
Management through daily collection calls Gather information to be
used in establishing lines of credit Conduct account research and
analysis Prepare and maintain various customer reports Responsible
for overall management of aging report Identify and execute the
necessary process adjustments Send statement to outstanding
customers Reconcile A/R to the G/L Requirements of the Collections
Specialist: Must have 1-3 years experience in A/R & Collections
Experience with a major ERP system like SAP or JDE preferred
Effective communication skills to handle customers with diplomacy
and tact Ability to obtain desired results with key accounts
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles Proficiency with
Microsoft Word & Excel Bachelors degree preferred Job Type:
Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per
