Accounting Assistant: Chicopee, MA Our client is a mid-size organization that is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant. The company highlights a team-oriented culture and provides its employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.

• Office hours are 8-4:30 with a 30 minute lunch, M-F
  
• Overtime is offered but not mandatory
  
• The Accounting Assistant will report to the Human Resource Generalist
  
• The Accounting Assistant will gain exposure to accounting and be a go to for the team
  
  Responsibilities of Accounting Assistant:
  
  • 
    
  • Code and input invoices into Epicor
    
  • Enter approximately 25 invoices per day
    
  • File invoices for AP
    
  • Manage the front desk - file paperwork and answer phones
    
  • Assist with obtaining documentation as needed, or following up with vendors as directed from the accounting team
    
    Preferred Qualifications for Accounting Assistant:
    
    • 
      
    • Previous experience in an office setting is highly preferred
      
    • Any exposure to accounts payable would be very a big bonus
      
    • Basic to intermediate excel skills
